Mission Statement

Rocking Rascals offers interactive music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and their carers. Each fun filled 45 minute class provides the opportunity for exploration and learning within a structured, happy environment. Come and join us for singing, dancing, instruments, puppets and stories at your local centre.

Why Rocking Rascals?

It is a well known fact that introducing children to music from an early age helps develop a multitude of skills. The structure of our class encourages concentration, listening, participation and turn- taking through drawing the children into the excitement of the moment rather than demanding that they sit on the mats! We explore all aspects of music from performance and listening to different types of music and moving to music.

Why the baby class?

The baby class is designed for babies from the age of 3 months to walking. It is a gentle class that stimulates all of a babies senses. The first 20 mins are devoted to guided singing, movement and sign. This is followed by visual and stimulating activities helping physical development such as hand-eye co-ordination, focus and balance. We cover a different concept every week in an 8 week rotation. Watch your baby become confident, excited and amazed!

Why the toddler class?

Toddlers learn about their world through action and play and this is what our class is all about. It follows a similar structure to the baby class but is more upbeat and lively. We encourage our toddlers to sit and listen and interact within a group as well as developing confidence to do their own thing! There is a different theme every week and this is reflected in the singing, games and story. Most importantly this class is great fun!
